OS Partition Full ReadyNAS Pro 6 - help
I have a ReadyNAS Pro 6 and from all of the topics that I have been reading I have the symptoms of the OS Partition being full! CIFS service not running, not being able to select it, web interface works, but can not select any services or any options! I was looking for some assistance on how to fix this issues. My device is no longer under support, just hardware support. I have much data on my device and would like not to loose it! Any help on how this can be fixed would be great!

- Ask mdgm for help via PM. He will probably ask you to put your RNP6 in Tech Mode and he can access your box and hopefully fix the full tmp partition. Btw do you have SSH enabled?

Maybe NTGR need to review their security with regard to tech mode passwords. - With port 23 forwarded and specific info given about the relevant box one could login.
You could contact NetGear online and see if they want to have a look if you prefer. They would let you know if they want to charge a fee etc. - In tech support mode, telnet is running. The telnet password is found all over the internet, hardly a secret.
mdgm also never worked for NETGEAR. They gave him hardware once in awhile, to help entice him to support users on the forums, since clearly the Support staff themselves rarely visits anymore. - NetGear has paid me to do some things for them and I do ask for hardware from time to time to help me help users. I expect to continue to do so in the future.
