Periodically resetting Permissions

Hello,

We use the ReadyNAS NV+ v2 and would like a little advice, please.

Is it possible to set a scheduled task to reset the permissions on a certain shared drive at regular intervals, For example: every 2 hours?

The problem that we are experiencing is that all users randomly have issues saving new files to a shared drive. Do not have Permission to save the file! We would then have to Reset the Permissions for that specific drive for the user to be able to save in that location. Users have full read/write permissions. This issue is random and happens to users approximately once or twice a month???

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

If you are comfortable with SSH you could schedule this easily using a cron job. This would not be supported though.

Would be better to figure out why the problem is occurring in the first place and address that.
