Well, I updated/upgraded to 5.2.10. As before, TM worked for several weeks and then gave me an error. So, I'm back at the beginning, needing to either a) recover the existing backup and figure out this permission issue so I can keep using the same file or b) start a new backup ever 3 weeks or so, which sort of defeats at least some of the TM purpose.
