I have the same problem. After trying everything, including rebooting, I am left with no choice but to factory reset the readynas. I changed the name of a couple of shares and also deleted some users, and now when i try and access a share it asks for the password and username, but there are no users set fro my readynas! Also I cant access any shares.
Luckily, all of my data is also on my desktop hard drive so no data was lost!
If you ever do run into the problem again, please let me know and I'll take a closer look.
