Jan 05, 2015Private Time Machine "volume" disappears
Hello and a happy New Year, I'm using private time machine on a ReadyNAS 104 running 6.2.2. In general the private time machine is working fine, but there's an issue after a scheduled ReadyNAS power...

Jan 07, 2015My Mac is connected through WLAN and Ethernet - I tested both.
This morning the private time machine volume was not available anymore.
I restarted the Mac 2 times. At boot it issues a message that the volume does not exist on the server.
I opened time machine system settings and listed the available volumes. The private time machine volume was not visible.
I mounted the ReadyNAS on the Mac using same user credentials than time machine is using.
In the finder I could see all shares except the private time machine, which is usually visible there, too.
So I logged into the ReadyNAS and went to backup - time machine.
I opened the settings for holger's private time machine, changed nothing but only pressed the apply button.
Holger's private time machine share immediately showed up in the finder and it's selectable for time machine backups which than complete successful.
So I believe the private time machine is not exported by the ReadyNAS after (scheduled) power off / on.
