Jan 05, 2015Private Time Machine "volume" disappears
Hello and a happy New Year, I'm using private time machine on a ReadyNAS 104 running 6.2.2. In general the private time machine is working fine, but there's an issue after a scheduled ReadyNAS power...

I realised about an hour ago that Time Machine hasn't backed up for two days. I attempted to reconnect via TM preferences but my password was rejected when I used the username ReadyNAS (I am 100% certain that I used the correct password!) and when I tried with my account name or admin I got 'The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error 2.)'.
I rebooted the ReadyNAS and tried again only now my Time Machine backup does not appear as an 'Available Disk' although it is listed as a 'Backup Disk', when I try to initiate a backup manually, I am told that it is not available.
So, basically, there is currently no Time Machine volume visible even though it is set up and can be seen via an application like Path Finder.
