Problem connecting to/from Win7 64 machines via fv backup

Been trying to resolve this issue for months. All went wrong some time in November. Anyway, as well as setting up another account the WIN7 machine and share access with that use, which I then used for the credentials on the backup (this was suggested in another post or forum somewhere), I finally found that the 'block' was something to do with McAfee. Funny thing is that on another WIN7 PC which I had just created, the issue did not arise.
So, my solution was to remove McAfee, both using the Windows remove programs option and then runnign the MCPR program available from McAfee. I then tested the back up again. Testing the connection in the backup setup page still said there as an error connecting, but when I actually ran the back up, sure enough it copied all the file as designed.
Finally, I reinstalled mcAfee and so far all is running fine. Backup still working.
