Problem with Firmware upgrade

Hi
I have just upgraded my ReadyNAS Duo to 4.1.13 firmware It all appears to have worked except I can't access the front panel. I can access the drives and the normal add ons seem to work I just can't go into system set up.
This seems to be identical to the post I had last year when I upgraded last.

Install the latest version of the PHP add-on via SSH
  • How do you do that exactly? Is there a place to put those .bin files and then do a restart? The version I installed yesterday prior to the crash was the latest one available via the download service - PHP5_5.3.28-sparc-4.5.5.bin

    Thanks for your help.
  • Fixed (by a fluke :)

So I tried installing the PHP5_5.3.28-sparc-4.5.5.bin by copying it to the /opt directory, chmodding to +x and installing using

    # ./PHP5_5.3.28-sparc-4.5.5.bin

But. it then complained it couldn't find the addons.conf file. So I moved it to the /etc/frontview/addons folder and ran the above again (without backing up the contents of the folder first - I know...) which gave different error msgs but also deleted everything in said folder. Ooops.

So I decided to run an OS restore and frontview came back to life, albeit slightly unhappy and not all files were recreated in the /etc/frontview/addons folder. But enough to access via https and ssh.

Will keep going and report my results.
