Process to 'migrate' 4.2.x disks from Ultra 2P to new 314
I've been searching on how to get the two X-RAID disks from my broken Ultra 2 Plus to a shiny new 314 box. mgdm has talked about migrating disks and booting 4.2.x. I have put in a brand new 3tb disk...

I can't see a new case with these details but if you are on the phone/chat now that might explain it.
Things may behave a bit weirdly booting OS4.2.x on OS6 but it works well enough to copy the data off assuming the array is fine. The ability to do this is only intended for making it easy for user's such as yourself to recover your data.
This only works when the disk, array and volume are fine. Which it sounds like they probably are.
