Alternate browsers no good, so I downloaded to a Windows machine & moved it to my Mac's shared folder. That worked. Would be nice if, since it's a known issue, some instructions were to be posted to the download pages. The Netgear ReadyNAS pages are horribly out of date, with broken links, old information and missing important info frequent.
