RAIDar not dtecting my ReadyNAS Duo RND2110 V2
Hi
I have the ReadyNAS DUO RND 2110 V2 which has been working fine, I managed it through my PC.
My Windows PC recently crashed and I have bought a new PC.
I have installed RAIDAR 6.3 on the new PC. When I use RAIDar to look for ReadyNAS I am getting a message, 'RAIDAR cannot find any NETGEAR storage on your network.'
When I see my Network components on my PC it can see the READYNAS.
What do I do? I have not installed any other READYNAS software on my PC. Do I need to install any older version of RAIDAR on my PC given the READYNAS is an old model?
Thank you

Try disabling any internet security software (including the windows firewall), and then re-run RAIDar.
What firmware is the NAS running?
Also, can you access the NAS with https (browser) or smb (file explorer?

Dear Stephen
Thank you for your response
I have diabled internet security and the windows firewall.
I think the NAS is running 4.1.6, how can I check it?
How can I access NAS with https (browser)?

You can access the NAS admin web ui by entering https://nas-ip-address/admin in your browser (using the real NAS IP address of course). You will get a security warning in the browser that you need to click through. In the case of Chrome, you'd click on "advanced", and then continue on to the page. From there you will get a pop-up prompting for the username (admin) and password.
You'll find the firmware version on the home page of the NAS admin web ui.
