RAIDiator 4.1.13 (sparc) / 4.2.25 (x86) is now available?
Sticky Topic ref: RAIDiator 4.1.13 (sparc) is now available? and RAIDiator 4.2.25 (x86) is now available?
Have NV+ ver 1 running 4.1.12. Did remote update and claims 4.1.12 is latest. Downloaded 4.1.13 update zip file and loaded using local update. Returns with invalid file pop-up. Tried each method twice to make sure.
Have an Ultra+ 4 running 4.2.24 also. Same result. Remote update says have latest. Local update says file is not valid for the architecture.
Had just finished a quarterly backup and reboot after DLNA service stopped working on the NV+. Upon reboot, NV+ logs had zero'ed out and system showed 0MB used and 0 MB available even though file shares all appeared normal. So thought doing the update would clear the problem. Simply reinstalled 4.1.12 and that cleared the RAIDiator issue.
Update:

Thanks mdgm. Been doing too many Android updates of late to pay attention to that.

- chirpaLuminaryNot surprised, they only half released it it seems. I posted on the forums here so others could see it was available. Not sure when the update.readynas.com server will get it also.
So for now, use the manual update. GPL for developers also doesn't work for 4.2.25. - markwollGuideThanks for checking.
I guess it will be good to wait till a more formal announcement, i.e. remote update finds the new update. - chirpaLuminaryIt's pretty formal when http://downloadcenter.netgear.com/ lists it. That is managed by global NTGR staff. Different staff does the update server, specific to the ReadyNAS team; which looking at the coverage on the forums by them, it's been stale lately...
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredYou have to unzip the zip file and upload the firmware image to do a local install.
- 4.2.25 Is it a case of the tail wagging the dog? Large post due to firmware update not working and finding the latest version available.

- Successfully upgraded to RAIDiator-x86 Version 4.2.25 from a version prior to RAIDiator-x86 Version 4.2.24(I skipped the .24 version).
I have notice that when I tried to install MyPlex PlexMediaServer-0.9.8.10.215-020456b-i686.bin that I could not as there is another similar service running, so Im guessing that the .25 has an updated DLNA or similar service running?
Anyone notice a similar issue ? - chirpaLuminaryMay be a bug in /etc/default/services checks, is Plex already listed in there?
- yep
PLEXMEDIASERVER=0
PLEXMEDIASERVER_SUPPORT=1 - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredMaybe remove those lines then try installing Plex again.
If you had Plex installed and removing those lines fixes the issue it suggests there is a bug.
Those lines should be there when the add-on is already installed.
