I'm not sure why you are needing to do this. Where is "private" - the OS partition or somewhere else?

My rn104 config:
Volume 1 - /data (admin files)
Volume 2 - /private (less important files)
Volume 3,4 - /mirror (more important files)
I want to share some files with other users via DLNA and i don't want create new share special for this.Other users want do this the same.
Finally DLNA server will stream files from /data/movies.

If movies is a share on private, why not just enable DLNA on that share?

I'm sorry. Movies user are deeper in pravite share e.g. /private/user_share/movies

And the ln command you posted earlier has the correct path?
BTW, did you try this with plex as well as ReadyDLNA? They might behave differently.
While I understand the motivation, for now at least it would be easy enough to work around the problem. Just create a share on /private, enable DLNA for it, and then (if desired) create the link in /private/user_share.
Maybe also post the suggestion that ReadyDLNA should follow soft-links on both playback and scanning in the idea exchange here.
