This is getting almost ludicrous. I tried your suggestion and now RAIDar shows all my disks as Green but FV only shows #4 as being alive; which is of course different than the #2 it showed before the power off/on. The logs still show "the Volume Scan failed to run properly" for the umpteenth time and the Volumes and Shares are still missing. GRRRR! :cry:
Most of the data is replaceable but it will be damn sure inconvenient and take quite some time to do. Thank God for Carbonite, nothing mission critical lost but I seriously wonder why have a NAS box for file storage at all.
