We are having the same issue. USB drive is a Segate 1TB.
We are having the same issue with a RN31400|ReadyNAS 300 Series 4-Bay,
USB drive is a Seagate expansion portable 1TB USB 3.0
This issue has only occured since installing firmware 6.6.0 upgrade from firmware 6.5.2
