Would it be possible for you to update the firmware of the NAS first. If it is still having issues, I will be requesting for the logs and have it checked.

Hi FramerV, Thanks for your reply.
I have already done a firmware upgrade since experiencing the problem. It is at Firmware 6.6.1 which seems to be the latest when I do a check for upgrade.
What logs would you require, let me know and I will get them for you. I have root acess.

As for the logs, if possible get all of the system logs.

Hi,
I have upgraded to OS 6.7.0 this morning. I am still unable to start SMB.
I have gathered the logs using journalctl into a file and I can see that the problem probably started before the re-boot on the 23rd March as there are errors about files being owened incorrectly on the 22nd, but it only became an issue with starting SMB after rebooting, as the service was already running. What is the best way to get the log to you?

Note that FramerV is asking for the full log zip, not a manually created file. You can get that from RAIDar or via the web UI.
