Ready NAS 102 upgrade question

You can move the disks to a new OS-6 readynas (keeping it powered down). There won't be any data loss, and settings should all be preserved.
The only caveat is that if you switch to an x86 NAS (RN400 - RN600), then you should uninstall your apps before you migrate, since platform-specific apps (like plex) won't migrate seamlessly from Arm (RN100, RN200) to Intel.
Another option is to get new disks for the new NAS, and use the RN102 for backup.
