Thank you for getting back to us. We bought it in January 2010, so I'm assuming that means it will be V1. The fan has been making a high speed noise for quite sometime, it has just slowed and is less noisy. The blue light is now permanently on and the left LED light (1) is now on green, but nothing on (2). It is still not registering on RAIDar

Yes, that would be a v1. The v2 wasn't released till November 2011.

My boss has turned it on and off again, exactly the same, it runs really loudly and has just dropped back the fan speed and the blue light has just gone solid, and the (1) LED light is green, but nothing on (2). Is it supposed to be like this for hours? We cannot access our files until this starts to work. Any suggestions please?
