What version of RAIDiator were you running beforehand?
Did you have any add-ons installed (e.g.ones included in some older firmware such as Photos II and BitTorrent)?
Sounds like it should most likely be an easy issue to fix.
Do you have all the data backed up? If it is the simplest solution would be to do a factory reset (wipes all data, settings, everything) to give your unit a clean setup on the latest firmware. This will give it things like 4k sector partition alignment as well (useful for when you eventually want to use 2TB disks).
