ReadyNAS 102 Squeezebox Touch connection issue
Hi all, new here so please be nice :D Ok so I've bought myself a Squuezebox Touch and a ReadyNAS 102 in which I installed 2 WD RED 3TB disks. The goal is to be able to stream all my music files...

Is the gigabit switch connected to your wifi router? If not, it should be.
On the RN102, click on "network", then on the picture of the adapter. That will bring up settings.
Then click on TCP/IP. That will show the current address and subnet, and will say "using DHCP" if the system is using DHCP, otherwise it will say "Static". The DNS tab will have the DNS server, which sometimes is the same as the router IP.
Generally you are better off using DHCP, and not static addresses. Most newer routers let you "reserve" addresses, so they will always assign the same address. That gives you the advantages of DHCP and the advantages of static addresses both.
