ReadyNAS 102 Squeezebox Touch connection issue
Hi all, new here so please be nice :D Ok so I've bought myself a Squuezebox Touch and a ReadyNAS 102 in which I installed 2 WD RED 3TB disks. The goal is to be able to stream all my music files...

Ok, so I went to Network> on the RN102 GUI and clicked on the image of the little network board and lo and behold! I got another "settings" tab pop up underneath. (who would have known, right?)
So I clicked on that, went to the TCP/IP tab and changed the "Configure IPv4" value from "Use DHCP" to "Static." I couldn't change IPv6 value because I had to define a router or something so I left it... then I hit "apply" and saved.
Then I turned everything off, both the SB and the RN102. First i turned the SB back on and connected to Mysqueezebox.com through wifi and selected an internet radio stream. No problems there...
Then I turned the RN102 back on and went to "my music" on the SB and it connected to the NAS right away without me having to enter any values again and I could instantly access my music.
We'll see how this goes but for now it seems like the issue is fixed... I'll come back to it later if anything changes (or not).
Does anyone see a problem with me leaving the IPv6 on "Use DHCP" when the IPv4 is set to "Static" on the RN102?
Thanks anyway guys, for all your responses. You've been of tremendous help.
