ReadyNAS 102 Squeezebox Touch connection issue
Hi all, new here so please be nice :D Ok so I've bought myself a Squuezebox Touch and a ReadyNAS 102 in which I installed 2 WD RED 3TB disks. The goal is to be able to stream all my music files...
Ok, it's still not working. When I wanted to connect with my NAS last time, I had to enter IP-adress, subnet mask, etc manually again... :?
Is there a way to get around this? I share a wireless connection with the neighbours, but the router is in their room so I won't be able to connect any cables there.
What if I get a wifi/gigabit router? Say I connect the SB and the NAS to my own router via LAN, will I then be able to connect my SB with the NAS and my neighbour's wifi on the same network through my own router? Have my own little sub-network, as it were? :D
I went to a computer store and the guy there recommended getting a wifi range extender/gigabit switch instead because he said the two routers will just interfere with each other. :?
Can anyone confirm if either one of these set-ups will or won't work?
