ReadyNAS 2100 files become unavailable when deleting files
When I delete files, the share in windows become unavailable, and subsequent files are reported as "can't find file xx" by windows. If I wait a couple of second, reconnect everything is online again....

RAIDiator-x86 4.2.17 is very old firmware. Have you considered updating the firmware?

And how do I do that? Do I install a client software on my machine? It has no access to the internet, but it's possible to transfer files to it. What is it called?

You just go to https://ip.of.the.nas/admin in your browser (using the real local IP address, of course). Or find the NAS in RAIDar (/ReadyNAS-Downloads) and click on "Setup" in RAIDar 4.x or "Admin Page" in 6.x. I'm a little stale on OS 4.2.x, but you should be able to find the shares page where you can access the files. If you have HTTP and/or HTTPS user access turned on, you can go directly to the shares page instead of the admin page.

You need to enable HTTP/HTTPS for the each share with read/write access. You do this on the shares page of the admin web ui. Then https://ip.of.the.nas/sharename will show you the share contents. From there you can use the web interface to delete files and folders.
I agree with mdgm-ntgr that you should upgrade your firmware.

Deleting from the GUI didn't work,
but I updated to 4.2.31 and rebooted it, that seems to solve it. Maybe a reboot would have sufficed. Thanks for the help!
