readynas 2100v2 iSCSI Server 2012r2

Hello, as noted in the title, I have these two devices and want to use the readynas to provide iscsi storage to the server 2012r2 box. However, the Windows box doesn't see the readynas storage at all within the Windows iscsi initiator.

Readynas 2100v2 is on firmware 4.2.27, one NIC is addressed 192.168.3.11, the other NIC is 10.41.1.6, iscsi support is turned on with a target of 10 gigs and access control enabled, with the IQN of the Windows server entered. (side note - This NAS is also used in our production network for regular old Windows file sharing on a share. The workstations use the 192.168.3.11 NIC for the file shares.)

The Windows server is 10.41.1.3, and doesn't see a thing using the Quick Connect or Discovery tabs of the Initiator dialog.

For a NAS that is marketed as ISCSI ready, I don't understand why this doesn't work immediately out of the box.

Thanks for any help. Surely there are other Server 2012r2 users out there who use iSCSI to a Netgear NAS.
