readynas 3100
Hi,
I have a readynas 3100, and it has only 3TB Memory.
Now I bought 4, 4TB hard drives, I would like to replace these with the old 1TB hard drives with hot swap.
Is there any special way to do it or not.
Please help.

- Did you make the backup first?

Is the unit running, but no data is available? Or is the unit not running? - I backed up data, but unfortunately it was not enough, i forget to backup my VMs, but luckily I had one of the HDD which I pulled out first, when i insert that one everything start working again.
But i had to turn it off properly and then insert HDD and then turn it on. this makes it working. Right now it is syncing volume and disk two.
I will keep updating for future references too.
