READYNAS 314 USB drive - folders do not show

Firmware is 6.4.0.

I have 3 USB hard drives that I would like to plug in to the NAS and acess using readycloud.

2 of the drives when plugged in show up under media but there are no folders shown under the drive. 1 drive is a 1TB drive the other is a 2TB drive

the 3rd drive is a 1TB drive and the folders do show up under this drive.

If I plug any of the 3 drives into my PC I can access all folders.

Any ideas on how to get the folders on the other 2 drive to show up?

Also is there a way to unmount or eject the USB drives with READYNAS 314 and firmware 6.4.0?

  • select "shares" from main admin UI then highlight respective usb share and choose the "wheel" icon for settings. under network access choose "allow anonymous access"

from main admin ui you may highlight the usb drive and select eject
