That would normally be shown with backslashes, since it is a Microsoft thing: \\NAS ip\data\Videos\Movies\American Gangster\poster.jpg

You are running MBS on OSX? Perhaps that does it differently.
Whichever way the slashes need to go, it also requires admin NAS credentials, since it includes the volume name (\data\).
What file sharing protocols do you have enabled for the share?
