ReadyNAS as media server for Synology DS1815+
Hello,
I've a DS1815+ from Synology. With this NAS it is not possible to stream in 1080p using Plex.
Because of my job I can test the ReadyNAS 204.
Is it possible to connect both Devices via LAN. ReadyNAS should see the datas of the Synology NAS. What could I do?

It you are wanting real-time transcoding then you'd need to test the RN214, not the RN204.
Are you wanting to simply transfer the media files to the ReadyNAS? That is fairly simple, you can use the built in back-up capability of the NAS.
Or do you want to mount the synology shares somehow on the NAS? That would be more difficult, and you'd have to do it with ssh/linux command lines.
