ReadyNas Duo - hard drive upgrade options

Brilliant, they are v1 I think with 4.1.14 so thanks for the confirmation. I have splashed out on a 104 now thinking that was going to be the case and I dont see me ever needing to go over 16T so I can migrate both Duos out to the 104 once its here. One more question, If I lift a drive from Duo1 and put it into 104 will it be immediately recognised with my data on it already and I can then sync to one of the new drives at a time.... or do I have to insert new empty discs first and then copy files over my network from Duo1 and Duo2 into the 104 ?
