ReadyNas Duo didn't expand & restart "corrupt root"

I have a ReadyNas Duo with latest firmware as of this week.
I had two 1.5Tb drives in there, and I swapped in one by one two 4Tb drives. This was working fine but noticed that it hadn't expanded to 4Tb.
So I then read these forums and decided to do a restart from the web browser setup screens.
On reboot all the lights on the front are flashing and RAIDar is telling me it is in a state of "corrupt root".

So, I unplugged both 4Tb drives...and then plugged back in the original 1.5Tb drives. I can see all my data on the original drives.

How can i get the 4Tb drives to work?

    Is this a Duo (v1 - runs RAIDiator 4.1.x) or a Duo v2 (runs RAIDiator 5.3.x)

The v1 does not support disks greater than 2TB in capacity.

Thanks so much for confirming. I was hoping it wasn't true. Time to look around at other NAS devices. Being recommended the QNAP 519, but will look at the new ReadyNAS as been happy with this one too.
