sounds like Netgear's definition of 'quiet'.
when i complained that the noise my Duo made was nothing like i'd expect it to be given the glossy Flash pictures of it sat in the living room, and the decription of the developer sleeping with one to prove it was near silent, i was told categorically that 'no one else in Europe' had complained about the fan noise of the Duo.
i too will never buy any netgear product either for myslef or my company.
