Such symptoms are usually, not always, caused by networking issues - often a dodgy cheap ISP provided router being the culprit - rather than an issue with either the Duo, DLNA server or the client (your BR player).
The only way to be sure is to directly connect the client to the Duo with a single ethernet cable - no switch, no router, no wireless functionality enabled (if any) - and retest. If the problem remains you know for sure that the fault is in one of 3 places - the client, the Duo or the cable connecting them together. But you will probably find the problem disappears confirming this to be a networking issue
