Hi Sphardy, looking around forums and elsewhere I've seen that twonky has been used successfully for streaming so before messing around with multiplugs etc. (maxed out in my current Home Cinema config!) as a quick armchair test I downloaded the eval copy and installed to the ReadyNAS - lo and behold my problem has disappeared.... I've now purchased for 15 notes and it has worked like a charm ever since. I'm happily watching my home movies through my DBP-1611 from my NAS without a problem.
Guess my issue probably was due to the ReadyDLNA software.... appreciate that it could have been anything from a purist's fault-finding point of view though.
