ReadyNAS Duo v2 outdated security protocol
Hi,
I recently attempted to turn on and access my ReadyNAS Duo v2 to my PC to access some files. Seeing that the shortcut is inaccessible, I thought there was a network reset, so I tried to remap the network location. However, all attempts have failed.
Manual input of the network IP address showed that the connection could not be verified, and hence access was denied.
A quick look up showed that ReadyNAS Duo v2 is using some outdated SMB protocol, which may be the issue?
I tried booting up RAIDar, which also didn't work. A quick reinstall of RAIDar (which required a reinstall of Java, which I think has been removed from windows) shows that my network drives are still there and healthy, but I have no way to access them.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

See /Samba-3-6-25-build-for-ReadyNAS-NV-v2 . Be sure to at least skim down to where he offers the second version of the add-on (message 16 of 38).
