You can't insert the 2 TB clone in place of the second disk (the 1.5 TB one). For one thing, the two disks have completely different contents.
One drawback of your configuration is that if either drive fails you loose the entire array. If you ever do another factory reset you might consider creating two separate volumes (C for one drive, D for the other). Then the drives are independent, so a failure only kills half your data.
