Hmmm, I'm running that firmware on my Ultra, and I haven't had any problems with it. It's not an answer though :P
You could try opening a support ticket at my.netgear.com and see if the techs can help you with your problem.
You could also download the logs from frontview and see if any of those give any indication of why the service fails.
