ReadyNas NV Pre Netgear No Boot
This device has worked fine for years.
This morning I realized it wouldn't let me access the drives.
I hard power cycled the device.
The device appears to boot but the blue LED pulses (not fast blink) continually.
I know a good bit about Linux and recalled that I had SSH enabled.
It lets me SSH in.

- Called netgear directly on this, they helped me identify a drive that had -hard- failed and was causing the system to not boot.
I must applaud netgear for supporting a product they technically didn't even manufacture and that is 7 years old!!!
Thanks Netgear! - I thought there was a problem with one of the disks. Glad they figured out which one.
For future reference the NV and the NV+ (v1) have the same boot menu (the NV doesn't have a LCD though). See http://www.readynas.com/kb/faq/boot/how_do_i_use_the_boot_menu
