The NAS will report the volume size in TiB (1024*1024*1024*1024 bytes) not TB (1000*1000*1000*1000).
So you should be seeing about 10.9 TB on the dashboard. 12*(1000/1024)*(1000/1024)*(1000/1024)*(1000/1024) = 10.91.
