ReadyNAS NV Will Not Boot With Four Disks
My ReadyNAS NV with 4.1.10 will not boot with all four disks installed: (1) Power loss caused reboot. ReadyNAS would not boot. Pulled disk 4, then system booted. Added new disk 4, everything OK ...
I have not noticed a burnt smell. (It is possible that the damage was done and the smell dissipated before I noticed though.)
I could pull it out (perhaps next week), but I am not sure what I am looking for and am leery of putting a drive though another initialization cycle. What would I be looking for on inspection?
