ReadyNAS NV+
Hi, I have a NV+ v2 that developed problems after a power loss event. After that, I kept losing files off the nas, very slow access times etc. Then it started reporting faulty disks.
I spat the dummy thinking the disks probably took a hit when the power failed so have now replaced all 4 of them and things seem to be running properly again.
Now I want to use the removed disks on a PC but 3 of the 4 are locked with a password?? Is there any way to unlock these so I can run Seagate disk tools on them to verify integrity? The one without the password has tested and passed all tests.
Cheers

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserThere are a couple of options:
(a) Can possibly contact L3 support.
(b) If you are conversant with ssh, you could also try this: viewtopic.php?p=380555#p380555 - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredDid you manage to get your disks unlocked yet?
If not, I can try and help if you like.
