ReadyNAS OS 6 and Home Shares with Backupexec 15
I am using Backupexec 15 and when I connect using the Linux Agent I can see all of the shares except the HOME shares are missing. I tried to login as Admin but it fails. I login as my user name which...
Perhaps try changing the admin password in the web admin interface. You could change it then change it back if you like the password you currently have set.
I just love this site.
The Backupexec 15 software installs a Unix backup agent on the NAS3200 when you click to backup the server. My problem is that I could login as (jbandes) and Root but neigher of them showed my own HOME share or the HOME SHARE directories. When I tried to login as admin it would fail.
I took your advice and change the password for the admin account on the NAS3200 running OS6 and it WORKED. I can now see the HOME shares and back them up.
