ReadyNAS Pro 6 install not allocating all available space
Two issues: Win 8.1. Six 4TB HGST Deskstar NAS HDs. Connected via Ethernet to router. I can see it fine on the network. X-RAID2 only allocates 8.1TB (RAID 0 allocates 10). 1.673 TB each drive....
So, one disc factory reset produced the same results. 1.6TB allocated. Reinitialized with all six disks. Same. Factory reset erased firmware update of course. D/L, extracted and locally U/L firmware 4.2.27. Still showing:
Ch 1 : HGST HDN724040ALE640 [3726 GB] 1673 GB allocated
and the same for the rest of the drives.
How do I change the RAID configuration without a factory reset (which erases the updated firmware)? I must be missing something.
