ReadyNAS Pro 6 install not allocating all available space
Two issues: Win 8.1. Six 4TB HGST Deskstar NAS HDs. Connected via Ethernet to router. I can see it fine on the network. X-RAID2 only allocates 8.1TB (RAID 0 allocates 10). 1.673 TB each drive....

It was the firmware.
Ch 1 : HGST HDN724040ALE640 [3726 GB] 3721 GB allocated
When i wrote factory reset I meant "factory default". This time I selected factory default through RAIDar vice "paperclip" method. The firmware remained 4.2.27.
Possibly the firmware didn't actually update the first time but I'm pretty sure I saw 4.2.27 with the one disk installed.
It looked like that was erased with the "paperclip" method.
At any rate, it's now configured X-RAID2 with 18TB of storage space available. At least, if a drive fails, I can recover. Thank you for all your help on this. It's been a long time since I've messed with RAID.
