ReadyNAS Pro to RN516 Upgrade
I'm about to buy a RN516 with 6 Seagate 4TB 3.5" SATA3 64MB Cache OEM Hard Drive (ST4000VN000) that I will install myself. I currently keep all my media data on a ReadyNAS Pro 6350. I intend to us...

New problem ... now that I have the RN516 as my source media server, I want to backup my shares to the ReadyNAS Pro 6350. The RN516 is the Source and the ReadyNAS Pro is the Destination.
In the SOURCE field, I select Type: "share" with the name "share:Photos". Host is blank. Path is "PHOTOS". Login and Password are blank.
In the DESTINATION field, I select Type: "remote" with the name: "remote: Rsync Server". The Host is the IP address of the ReadyNAS Pro: 192.168.1.20. The Path is blank. Login and Password are populated.
The TEST CONNECTION is successful. When I start the Backup, I get the following error message:
"Error backup job "Photos" connection cannot be established. Please check the connection and authentication, if required."
I get this with each Share backup job. Any thoughts on what's wrong?
Thanks,
Herb...
