ReadyNAS Pro

My ReadyNAS is stuck on Checking Root FS. Can someone from NETGEAR please assist. I am on OS 6.4.2. This is a legacy so Netgear Support won't help.

    You asked about purchasing the RN516 in your PM. The 516 has ECC RAM and we QA test our firmware with this model. It has 4x the RAM that the Pro ships with too.

     

    If you run into issues with the RN516 support can help (depending on the warranty status and the contact method used a contract may be required) and advise on strategies to reduce the risk of running into problems again.

     

    You could keep the Pro and use that to backup the new NAS.

    What brand and model disks are you using and how long have you had those?
