ReadyNAS ultra 6 stuck at "ReadyNAS" at boot
The powersupply to the unit stopped working after a power outage. Opened the case and plugged in Corsair RM550 to the motherboard and the disks. The unit powers up, but the USB and backup status LED...

Not sure what you mean by fully seated, so enclosed a picture of the 24 pin connector. The black is the new one from Corsair and the white one is the original.
I have backup of most data but not all, so it would be nice to get it to work. I'm still on radiator 4.2
I only have 4 drives installed. Using RAID setup, but I can't remember what raid type I selected.
If I move the drives to a new NAS unit will the raid configuration information be preserved or will the data be destroyed?
Can get my hands on an RNDU4000 version.

By "fully seated", I mean completely pushed in and latched. The connector in the photo is the right one (unlike some others, the 6-bay units use a standard pin-out). The Ultra6 does not use the 4-pin square connector that the other 6-bay units do, just the 24-pin and 3 4-pin in-line Molex.
Since you have only four drives, the RNDU4000 will work with your volume, and that would be the easiest way to recover data. All the configuration of the NAS is on the drives, so everything will go with the volume. On that type of system, the OS version in flash "wins" if there is a mis-match between it and what's on the drives. So it's best to first put in a scratch disk (on which everything will be wiped) to boot the NAS and then update to the latest (4.2.31) to insure the OS on your volume doesn't get downgraded. If it has been converted to OS6, then converting back, to 4.2.31 is critical, but it's an extra couple steps than a simple OS update. Let us know if you need to do that.
