Reboot after upgrade to 4.1.13 incomplete after 11 days
I initiated the upgrade of my Duo from 4.1.11 to 4.1.13 (skipping 4.1.12). After a while it sent me an email saying "Please reboot your ReadyNAS device to continue with the update process." which I did, via the browser control panel. That was on 19-Dec. It's now 30-Dec and the blue light is still flashing indicating a 'lengthy operation is in progress'.
The NAS has a pair of 2TB drives mirrored. It responds to ping but RAIDar doesn't find it. I'm reluctant to perform a hard reboot, but what could it possibly be doing that takes 11 days?
If anyone has seen similar behavior, I'd appreciate some guidance.
Thanks.

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserDo you have a backup?
- mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredPower down, disconnect the power, wait a few minutes or so, reconnect the power and attempt to boot the NAS again.
- oxymoron1Aspirant@StephenB: No.
@mdgm: Thanks, but what is the expected outcome? A happy, healthy NAS with all my data intact? Or something less? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee RetiredHopefully. Try it and find out.
- oxymoron1AspirantYup, that worked. RAIDiator found it and reported that it was 'Updating'. It now reports firmware rev 4.1.13 and seems to be back in business. Thanks for your help. (I really must start taking a backup...)
