Resettare la password

Salve a tutti e grazie della possibilità di utilizzo della community.

Il problema è il seguente.

Il primo è stato realizzato da una password per accedere tramite web alla pagina del NAS ma non la ricorda. I dati sono accessibili ma dovendo sostituire i dischi vorrei sapere come ripristinare le password e password senza perdere i dati sui dischi.

Vorrei sapere se basta sostituire i dischi più capienti.

Ringrazio tutti coloro che vogliano darmi consigli.

    You can do an OS reinstall using the NAS boot menu.  That's described on pages 20-22 here: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/READYNAS-100/ReadyNAS_%20OS6_Desktop_HM_EN.pdf

     

    It will

    • reset the admin password to password
    • reset the network configuration to use DHCP
    • turn off quota on the volume settings

    Other settings are not affected, and it won't delete your data.

     

    Be careful to do the OS reinstall - don't do the factory default, as that will destroy your data.

     

    I'm not understanding your question on the disks - hopefully someone who speaks Italian can help with that.
