RN 314, Deleting Snapshots on 6.8.1 via Web-Interface

Hi,

since we dont need/want Snapshots, I want to delete them. All explanations I found here aren working for me.

When I enter "Shares -> Snapshots -> select the oldest snapshot .. I cant push the button Recovery because it is greyed out (disabled), the same happens when I select one of the other Snapshots (the newer ones).

How about deleting old, unneeded, space occupying Snapshots with 6.8.1. on a 314 ?

Regards

J.

  • The normal procedure (using the admin web ui) is to

    • navigate to the shares page
    • select a specific share
    • click the settings wheel at the far right of that share and choose recover.

That should list all the snapshots for that share.

right click on one, and you should see "delete" as an option.
