RN104 X-RAID2 back to 2 JBODs?
Hi. I have 2 HD's in my RN104, of 1.5Tb and 3Tb. I'm new to this and I've foolishly configured them as X-Raid (yes, I'm an idiot :oops: ). Problem is, it has autoconfigured them as a 1.5Tb RAID-1 vol...
Both options (1.5+3+3) XRAID2 or flexraid with 2x3TB RAID-1 and 1.5 JBOD) offer the same amount of space. If the 1.5 TB drive is healthy, I'd just keep it as part of the XRAID array. If you are worried about the drive health, then its best not to use it all.
